It Still Tasted Good Coming Up!
How`s it going with all of you gringos?!? Once again we have had a week where almost all of our citas fall and we gotta fight to keep busy every day. But that`s alright!! Vacations are starting to end for people and so we should be able to find more people in their houses. We had a pretty awesome activity Friday for our Branch. It was Día de Amistad (Day of friendship) and we had a bunch of games and a hardcore water balloon war. Photos will be sent in a couple weeks. Elder Holt decided to get sick Saturday morning and he was up at 3 am upchucking our lunch. It wasn't fun for him so I decided to make banana pancakes for him for breakfast. They were pretty delicious pancakes by the way but he threw them up too. But he said it still tasted good coming up so I`m proud of my pancakes.
Cambios are this week!!!! I didn't think Elder Holt or I would leave because we just got here. And I was right. We are both staying in Linares. BUT! There is an Elder Souza coming to be in a trio with us!! And he`s from Brazil! Whuuuuuuut! We don't have a bed for him or anything in our house so we kinda gotta figure that out haha. But I`m super excited cause I love Brazilians! I`ll be fluent in Portuguese in no time hahaha!
FACT OF THE WEEK: Garbage disposals are illegal in Chile.
Have a great week everyone!!

Pretty Frustrating
This week has been pretty frustrating actually. Almost eveyday we have set appiontments with people and when we get to their house they aren't home. We call them up and they say "oh we went out of town" or "we went to the beach" UGGHHHhhh but you told us yesterday that you`d be home! But no biggie, I`m not bitter haha. Elder Holt and I are doing everything we can to stay positive and happy :) I know if we just keep doing our part and work hard then everything will work out how it`s supposed to :) We did get sick on Wednesday but even that didn't stop us from working hard! Theme of this next week is animo! (that means excitment or motivation). I hope everyone has a fantastic week and Happy Valentine`s Day!

Jolly Good Week
What's up people! I hope everyone had a jolly good week! On Tuesday we had interviews with President Arrington which was super cool cause he`s my buddy. We talked a bunch about the area and stuff and it was great. Hermana Arrington also brought Oreos so that made me super happy. Speaking of Oreos, I`m glad that we walk so much cause I eat a TON and I promise I would be fat. Anyways, Thursday we a NDH (FHE) with all the youth in the branch and we taught them how to make smores! Wow I miss smores! I ate about 6 (told you a eat a lot) and I was the happiest person alive. It was super fun and we got to know more the youth here so that's good. Saturday was the big day! We got to church to get everything ready for Yaritza`s baptism and then waited for people to start coming. There was couple at first but then people kept coming and coming. Yari invited all of her friends from PFJ (EFY) and 30+ youth came to support here. How awesome right!? It was hard to fit everyone into the baptismal room haha. But everything went super well and we had a little testimony meeting afterwards. To hear her testify of the church and of her baptism was incredible. She has the strongest testimony of anyone I know and the spirit in that room was ridiculously strong. It was such a great experience and I`m so grateful to be able to help other people have those experiences in their lives. The church is true! Have great week everyone!
